Products Multi Function Protection Relays

B-PRO Bus Protection Relays

The B-PRO relays provide low impedance differential protection for any bus bar configuration with CT saturation security, integrated breaker failure, overcurrent protection and SCADA control in a fully integrated solution. The B-PRO also provides control, automation, metering, monitoring, and high quality fault oscillography and sequence of events logging.

Application in B-PRO 4000 Bus Protection Relay

  • Simple bus applications with up to 6 feeders and 2 differential zones with breaker failure, or 4 feeders and 1 transformer, including separate full transformer differential protection (87T)
  • 1 or 2 separate differential zones - bus and transformer or Bus 1 and Bus 2 for multiple buses

Application in Multi-Busbar Protection Scheme

  • Applications for bus configurations for up to 24 feeders Protection for 3 differential zones and a check zone.
  • Scalable architecture allows flexibility to use the most cost effective hardware combinations, based on the actual number of zones and number of current inputs in the bus system
  • Dynamic zone selection (including fixed zones) and Selective Bus Tripping based on Isolator status
