About Us History

Our history includes several stages, with unwavering focus on leading-edge protection and recording products. In 1993, ERLPhase began under the name APT Power Technologies, as a software and hardware engineering development team producing an innovative transformer protection relay with roots at the University of Manitoba. Growing its small base of loyal customers, APT expanded to produce what would prove to be a very successful line of protection and recording products.

In the year 2000, APT Power Technologies was acquired by NxtPhase T&D Corporation, a Canadian supplier of optical CTs and PTs, during which time development and support of customers continued.

In Jun 2007, Easun Reyrolle Ltd acquired this division, which has since operated as the company ERLPhase Power Technologies Ltd.
